Print this free dinosaur valley scene coloring page for a full landscape with several animals. The PDF gives everyone at the table a different part of the scene to color.
Why the animals are grouped here
The three dinosaurs in this drawing did not all live at the same time. Brachiosaurus is from the late Jurassic, while Triceratops and many familiar small raptors are from the late Cretaceous. A scene can bring them together for creative coloring, but the fossil record keeps their ages separate.
- Brachiosaurus lived about 154 to 150 million years ago.
- Triceratops lived about 68 to 66 million years ago.
- Real landscapes, plants, and animal sizes varied, so this page uses friendly visual storytelling.
Coloring and printing tips
- Print at 100% on US Letter, or select fit to page or shrink to fit for A4.
- Crayons are great for large sky and valley areas; colored pencils add texture to palms and rocks.
- Use 65-90 lb paper or 90-160 gsm. Choose cardstock for markers.
- Color the volcano separately from the river, then give each dinosaur a distinct pattern.
